NRG.Lab has a strong background in electrical networks and builds different power generation test benches: synchronous generator based systems in the range of 30-250kVA and converter based emulators in the range of 10-100kW, both for 50 and 60Hz networks.

NRG.Lab power generation systems work as grid emulators, able to test the performance of electrical equipments emulating different voltage profiles, weak & strong grids, frequency variable systems or different inertial behaviours.

NRG.Lab offers low cost bidirectional DC power supplies for applications that doesn’t need a large voltage regulation window, but to keep the DC voltage within nominal values, with no risks of breaking anything if there is an unexpected power delivery to the DC side. An attractive stand alone system and a security complement for existing sources designed to provide unidirectional power

ACS30
Low power grid emulator based on a synchronous generator linked to a prime mover based on a DC or squirrel cage motor with programmable governor response. Suitable testbench for emulating the performance of weak grids, working at different voltage/frequency conditions or, generating realistic electrical network transients.
